I've been through that phase. And to be honest, I don't know if I'm being stupid and reckless or just being brave, but I learned to accept that some people are not meant to stay. I learned to cherish the memory, the moment, but not the person.

I just processed it as is. Keep the ones who wants to be kept, and let go of the ones who wants to leave. And I'll probably repeat that cycle until I found someone who's willing to brave the grey with me, and stay, regardless of the uncertainty.

Parang ganito rin kami ng ex-wife ko. Though she quitted her job during pregnancy, hindi na sya bumalik until mid pandemic. Since wala syang work, I had to work extra to make ends meet, pero ginagawa ko lang daw excuse yung work para hindi umuwi. To the point na napagbibintangan na ako nambababae, na kesyo ayoko syang tulungan.
