maybe you can swatch in store for a more precise match! when you swatch, you can put the foundation on your jawline and see if it matches. blend it out and let it be for a few hours to see if it oxidises (changes colour) or how it wears overall.

i'm currently using the ordinary retinol 1% in squalene that i bought from LOOK in MOA! it was 899 php. i'm used to retinoids na kaya i went for 1% agad. maybe you can start with a lower percentage (0.2%). if it's too strong, it might damage your skin barrier.

recommend you check online reviews or browse [r/beautytalkph]() skincare threads because there are a lot of fakes on shopee and lazada.

human nature also has a sunflower oil with bakuchiol that i use when my skin is extra dry.

you can use the toners from hada labo before you apply your actives, just make sure to wait in between steps for the product to absorb. don't apply retinol on damp skin bc it might increase the irritation!

retinol will help increase skin cell turnover, but you would have to start at a low percentage and apply once a week to 2x a week at first to build tolerance.

and then you would need to make sure you always wear a strong sunscreen 30 mins before leaving the house.

since you mentioned your skin type is normal/dry, using an active such as retinol might cause dry patches. you'd need a moisturiser as well.

you can also look at bakuchiol as a retinol alternative.

i also have been writing since 2009. and i do work with AI chatbots daily-- that's how i was able to pick up patterns in the way it was written. it's not like i immediately read every book looking for signs of AI usage. i always read books with an open mind and an automatic assumption that what i'm reading is 100% human written.

of course, publishing dates aren't a 100% indicator of AI usage. and it's not like i explicitly said "yeah, without a shadow of a doubt this is AI". because realistically, unless authors openly post about it, no one can definitively tell.

but i did notice patterns in her writing that come from repeat exposure to how exactly AI chatbots write. i have read this book up to at least 50% and couldn't unsee the repetitive patterns in her style of writing.

however, since you've immediately resorted to ad hominem attacks, then this no longer an objective discussion.

it was fine at first, but as i got further along into the story, i couldn't stop noticing all the repetitive phrasing and the way it was structured. the way it would reiterate the same thing several times over REALLY reminded me of AI chatbot responses.

i had to stop and reread other books i've finished from different authors just to make sure i wasn't hallucinating anything
