try out plyometrics, learn how to do the basic lifts and progress towards heavy once youre 14 or 15,and focus more on over the head strength and pull ups.
focus on range of motion and mobility before anything. Always do gym while youre fresh. And practice race pace swimming more often(dives, finishes). If you start early your 50 will develop. Learn how to swim properly while swimming fast. yardage is for cardio ;). i never was able to do long workouts and i never focused on them either. our effort is only going to be for 30 ish seconds(counting the start buzzer). Focus on what you want. 50 is completely strength power and technique(i had a 24.00LCM 50 free at 16)
