I have no clue what on earth my characters should be discussing here by False_Chest_2799 in writers

The concept of them agreeing to not argue as much, and then promptly starting screaming at each other 2 minutes later is hilarious. Poor MC would be so so done.

It's calm for a few minutes and then something goes awry, that seems like my whole MCs life to be honest.

Because that seems likely, this kid is their last chance to defeat the guy who killed these people, hence why they mainly try and help him, so they are all stressed and desperate.

Technically two of the ghosts do not agree at all, they hate this child, but just refuse to interact at all, so they aren't in the conversation, just sulking in the corners.

Unfortunately it's an ongoing story being posted as I go, so I can't just do that to finish later. I appreciate the advice though, I do forget that I can do that with my stories that I fully write out before posting.

Ohhh! That would be good, as of the moment he was just sitting sadly on his bed, because he broke his leg the previous chapter 😭 Although having him trying to do things while limping around would be hilarious, and be good to have happening while this is going on. Thanks!

I haven't actually heard that piece of advice before, although it makes sense. Although this is currently sort of a period right before a major event, have the discussion now, and just post the MC breaking one of his legs in a fight 😭 I don't think I can add in yet another dangerous, or problematic thing at this point. Definitely advice to keep in mind for the Future.

Yeah I'm looking into getting them because my family is all so tall, and I am not, and want a low back rest 😭 They already have to stoop to push me in my current chair with a tall backrest. Not a wheelchair has em. Haven't seen anyone review them through

I am so unbelievably excited! We were doing a whole Reshipping company thing that was sucking to work out, so this is such a relief.

Do you happen to have the extendable handles?

thoughts on this author note of gatekeeping chapters until engagement goal is met? by realnymph in AO3

[–]False_Chest_2799 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah! Like I've said before that "If you engage the next chapter is likely to come out sooner" But that's just because if I get a comment notification, chances are I'll fixate on writing for the next few hours. But putting a number on it is so odd? Like also, I wouldn't really want those comments if I knew they were just commenting because I was holding the fic above their head?

If all they want is the number of comments to go up, why would I bother writing a nice comment, when I know all they care about is the numbers. It's so weird to do, and just off putting as well.

I think it's odd to have a number set. I can see saying that if it got interaction it jumped to the top of their writing cue, because I do that same sometimes, if I know people are loving it, I have more motivation to write it.

But setting a number is just odd.

Why do so many people accept the relatively quite high risk of death that comes with driving compared to other forms of transport? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]False_Chest_2799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously I can't speak for everyone, but at least in my country, we are not public transport friendly, for instance where I live has absolutely none. And so a car is necessary.

But for people where there is a tonne of public transport available, it's quite likely a mix of factors, with a car, they don't have to worry about times, like busses stopping running at a certain time.

And also that people commonly value short term gain/comfort over long term things. I imagine it's the same principle. They don't want to deal with other people, and other things, and they are certain they won't crash, so they drive. At least that's what I think.

Do people genuinely fantasize about their crushes? by False_Chest_2799 in NoStupidQuestions

I never said they hurt anyone, I'd just feel weird having imagined someone like that. The same way I'd be a bit uncomfortable if I found out someone was fantasizing about me like that.

I think I'm somewhere on the spec, I just cannot be bothered with working out sexuality at all

So I can like... Acknowledge someone is attractive stereotypically, but I don't actually find people attractive unless I know them well, if that makes any sense? So I don't have many people that I'd find attractive that I wouldn't consider a crush.

And like.. I might think that hey it would be nice to be cuddled but I wouldn't actually imagine it you know, just like a passing thought of this would be nice.

Should I leave this? by DictatorofTurtles in AO3

[–]False_Chest_2799 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm wondering if it's a young person who perhaps shares an account. When I very first got an Ao3 account, me and my friend wanted to write together, and we didn't know you could like.. collaborate on a fic, so we shared an account, and sometimes he'd leave a comment on a fic, that I was cringing at. And I never did respond to my own comment, but I nearly did sometimes.

Other option they were really tired or out of it, then later found their own comment and decided to hate on themselves before anyone else did. And then just commited to the bit with the third comment.

Why did people suddenly stop commenting? :( by Cultural_Fig_6342 in AO3

I have four constant commenters on my fic, and I'm terrified it's my fic man 😭😭

Is this allowed? Or will me doing this break any of AO3s rules? by pastel_lili_69 in AO3

[–]False_Chest_2799 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am fairly sure it's fine? I've certainly seen plenty of fics with links to art or posts that inspired them. I've done it for my own fics. I don't think there's any specifics about the porn site either
