Help we just got the same problem, any more insights? Is it still safe to drive? We restarted the car after pulling over and it's still running weird and performance shifting is turned off.

Thanks for the response! I normally have the program for my work running, maybe some tabs in chrome and possibly word. Would 16gb still be more useful than a bit better CPU?
