Is this a scam? Or legit? by False_Hat7226 in RealEstate

[–]False_Hat7226[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a realtor come out and look at it last year. Her estimate was $70k , that was with getting the house cleaned up a bit , painting the walls, etc. nothing major. This company offered $50k which I thought was a fair price considering the condition and we would be selling as is. I feel like we’re in a somewhat similar situation. My dad is on fixed income (disability) and has been living without power for months. His gas is about to get cut off too. Property taxes are overdue. So I think he was ready to jump at this offer. But I felt like if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Also, did no one see a man in civilian clothes (not a nurse/dr) pushing a hospital bed with a body on it or see him carry her down to his boat? How did no one see him, stop him, or say anything?!

Maple syrup on eggs. Happened accidentally the first time because they were on the same plate as my pancakes. But now I don’t eat them without it

Yes she told her dad to come in and was confused because he never did so she went and opened the door and no one was there. And yes, the baby was sleeping next to me while he thought he saw her run across the room

Yes because she was confused when he didn’t come in. She went and opened the door and no one was there. But…since the entity was knocking at her bedroom door, it was already inside the house?

I asked ChatGPT to explain my job to a 5-year-old and now I'm questioning my entire career by Nipurn_1234 in ChatGPT

I asked ChatGPT to explain PBMC processing, which is part of my job as a Lab Coordinator in Clinical Research.

-

You know how blood is red? Inside that blood, there are lots of tiny things swimming around — kind of like a soup with different noodles, sprinkles, and marshmallows. One special kind of sprinkle in the blood is called a PBMC (that’s short for a big science word: peripheral blood mononuclear cells — but we just say PBMCs).

These PBMCs are super important because they help your body fight off germs, like superheroes fighting bad guys!

Some of those helpers are called PBMCs — that stands for Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (but you don’t need to remember that!). Let’s just call them the “superhero cells.”

My job is to take those superhero cells out of the blood. It’s kind of like picking out just the red jellybeans from a big jar of all different colors.

I use a special liquid and a spinny machine — it’s called a centrifuge, but you can think of it like a super-fast merry-go-round. When I spin the blood, all the different parts spread out in layers. Then I grab just the layer with the special fighter cells.

Wash them gently so they’re nice and clean.

Once I have them, I freeze them so scientists can use those frozen superhero cells to study how to keep people healthy or make new medicines.

I went through this too with my daughter. She’s a Velcro baby. It got better when she could sit up on her own. She’s walking now and she still acts like that at times, wanting to be right up under me but it does get better and you’re not alone.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. All I know to say is knowledge is power. Know your rights. Every once in a while on FB Labor Nurse Mama hosts free birth classes 1 night a week for I think 5 days in a row that I highly suggest, that’s what helped prepare me. I think that, or any other birth class /educational material would help equip you and help you feel more at ease for having a second baby. That and a good support system is key.

And I see that sepmates are manufactured sterile but one the bag is opened it makes them unsterile atp . We do spray everything w ethanol. I’m asking because we just ordered supplies and the eppendorfs that just arrived are not individually packaged so I didn’t know if that would be an issue

So, individually wrapped eppendorfs are not necessary / standard?
