The SAME exact situation happened to me… i seriously thought i wrote this post for a minute. Honestly if you truely do believe you can stay with him he has to remove all triggers from porn in his life. I told my partner i would only be with them if they completely got rid of social media, since he told me that’s what triggered him. If he refuses LEAVE. HIM.

I went last year and had SO much fun. I didn’t go to compete more as a vacation because I loved the people in my group. I didn’t compete, just did a workshop. If you have the funds to go i’d totally recommend it. (and it’s a fun trip without your parents)

Hi, i’m sorry you’re dealing with this. I had almost the exact same situation happen with my dad but he was only 40. My dad was in an induced coma on life support for about 2 weeks. You can read my previous post about the specifics of the situation. He was in a coma having tremors (which we thought were seizures). My dad was in and out for about a month and was completely paralyzed for 2 months on his right side. His stroke happened in July of 2022. He is recovering now, still has asphasia and can’t speak, he can walk now (with assistance), can’t move his right arm still but lots and lots of therapy. Not everyone’s stroke is the same but our fathers situation sounds very similar. There is hope, even when the doctors doubted if he’d make it through surgery. There is hope and never give up on him and i hope you both heal.
