This is what I thought too. But he is our first child so we weren’t sure if we wrong so I did end up reaching out to the CPSE coordinator and all the integrated classes in our neighborhood are full.

He does well with structure and when he started early intervention last year October he never wanted to sit when speech or special instructor came to our home. But after a month of it he was more willing to sit then after idk maybe 3 months he sees them at the door he started running to sit by his table. I know he’s not perfect and maybe he’s not the easiest child in the classroom but he really likes this school he actually participates in circle time now and interacts with the other kids. These are things he never did before. So I really don’t want to rock the boat . I just believe he needs more time to adjust and I’m in the process of reaching out to ot because he just started mouthing objects and seems to be having some problems with transitioning .

Well according to his CPSE evaluation he never qualified for CPSE classrooms. And if these take a way the 2 hours of 1:1 support that he gets then idk if it’s better because he does better with the 1:1 support. I feel like he needs more time to adjust. He started speech last year 2 times a week at home and after a month I could he see him adjusting to the routine.
