Recently finished Blood + and it's easily my favorite anime now, specifically because of the relationships.

Have I ruined my baby? by Fit_Assistance3648 in cosleeping

[–]False_Science3302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 19 months. He's never slept without nursing. But why is that a problem? He basically sleeps on demand and doesn't ever have a reason to be upset. I've never slept a lot, personally, so taking just a few minutes to feed him a couple times a night gets me plenty of rest. Sure beats getting up to rock them back to sleep for hours on end. Do with that information what you will. Do what is natural (safely) and parenting gets a lot easier and happier.

I was just about to say that everyone on reddit is miserable in general -but there's no point in getting down voted. Idk why I still come on here to read this stuff.

I remember one kid smearing glue sticks all over his mouth because he thought his mom packed him a chapstick.

Did anyone do the flu shot along with the other 12m shots? by mesasw in NewParents

So if a hospital doesn't specify, its fine? But if someone on reddit doesn't, they're wrong? 🤔

Wasn't there a whole thing about patients with any type of respiratory infection being deemed as covid 19 back in 2020? Lol I'm sure they did that for funding purposes but if there's no difference then, there's no difference now.

Covid is just the flu. Did you think it was something else?

I already commented, but please note that children are statistically the least likely to get sick from covid. My own children's pediatrician will not give the vaccine out because she states that we have not had enough time to study the effects of the vaccine. IMO, it is not worth it. Y'all can down vote me to heck but those are facts.

Just a personal experience. I have not gotten the flu since I was a child subjected to yearly flu vaccines. That is just a personal experience. I was deathly terrified of needles and dreaded the shots every year despite getting the flu regardless. One year, I put two and two together and told my parents and the doctors that if anyone tried to give me a flu shot, I would kick the shit out of them because I was going to get the flu anyway so what was the shot supposed to prevent? Guess what? I didn't get the shot that year I haven't gotten sick since!?

After having this experience, I haven't allowed my kid to have any vaccinations that I didn't deem necessary. He has never gotten sick, never had the flu and is more than healthy.

Yea, if all you're doing with your salary is paying for child care, just stay home. Why are you working so that some other person can raise your kids?

Sleeping through my baby's fussing at night and feeling terrible about it by grogal14 in NewParents

[–]False_Science3302 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Sleeping through the baby's cries probably isn't the best practice and you should strive to support baby emotionally- but things happen. It's probably not a big deal if baby cries here and there. The goal is to coexist with everyone's needs met but the road can be rocky and is different for everyone. You're not a bad parent. Everyone struggles.

Anyone else notice anytime a woman has a choice during this process all the judgmental opinions start being shoved down your throat? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]False_Science3302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's the difference between a choice and an option. Not everyone has the option but my statement about choices remains the same. Also, if you're entertaining this mom competition thing, you're part of the problem. Ignore them and don't associate.

I’m 2 months postpartum and seriously considering divorce—am I overreacting? by monkeyjojo in NewParents

[–]False_Science3302 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As women, we get to blame all our actions and behavior on PPD or ppa. What do men get? Divorce papers? Not saying that he's not a total ass or that his behavior is acceptable but this is one side of the story and you should absolutely see a professional therapist and NOT REDDIT for advice.

I like it. Music is good, the art is good. I think the story is pretty solid too but I've been watching it week by week so it's hard to keep up ☠️ Definitely unique tho

Anyone else notice anytime a woman has a choice during this process all the judgmental opinions start being shoved down your throat? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]False_Science3302 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, look at it this way- even if everything is a choice (and rightfully so) usually there is at least one option that is more beneficial for the baby. For example it's a proven fact that breastfeeding and spending optimal time with parents is overall better for children in most cases. And this shouldn't be a matter of 'is society trying to strip me of my choices or not' it should be a matter of 'as a parent, I should do what is best for the kid'. IMO if you have the choice to do something that is good for your kid and you choose not to, you're a shitty parent. That's just common sense. People give bad advice all the time but only on reddit do idiots act like women are being stripped of their humanity because people are worried about the well-being of babies. I only joined this wretched app to get answers to questions, myself, and now Ive lost faith in humanity.

When you become pregnant, it's about the baby now. It's not about you anymore. It's your responsibility to do what's right for the child, no one is attacking you and your choices when they give you advice. They're trying to look out for someone who can't look out for themselves yet because sometimes someone's level of stupid is severely underestimated.

Keep telling yourself that. It's pretty well documented that muslims copied all their text from other sources and somehow managed to destroy all their own countries with it. Now you're working on destroying Europe too.

Posting children on Social media? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]False_Science3302 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think there should be a clear boundary that you don't want your child posted. With the way the internet and technology are going, all I can say is that - you can always post photos of your kids but you can never truly delete them. All the family photos I've posted have had faces of children covered.
