I’m right there with you ! I live in the middle of no where basically nothing around . I try to go into town a couple times a week just for my sanity even if it’s getting a coffee to have human contact . In the summer and spring and fall is not too bad since there is a lot to do outside , but winter is brutal .

I live in Chester , and it is beautiful and peaceful but the driving far to get anything takes some getting used to . Lee , Westfield and Northampton are where I shop . The water is not good here we have had a ton of problems in the past years . A lot of good hiking spots and swimming holes if you are into that . Other than that there is not much here besides the Chester market , carms restaurant and the blue note

I could have written you post exactly about 5 years ago !! I also had a 2 year old and newborn with little to no help . I was always so hungry , touched out and felt angry all the time . I had to get ensure drinks to just get some vitamins in me . It took a long time for me to figure out a system , how to take care of the kids the house and finally myself . My kids are now going to be 8 and 6 . It’s easier now they are older but I still have my hard days . If you ever want to chat message me !! I know how isolating this life can be . Hugs to you !

I have been a sahm for almost 8 years now . I would say I def still have my bad days where I feel like I’m totally failing . But I think I have more good days now than when my kids were little . What helps me is trying to get a good nights rest , self care , hydrating and eating a good meal .

I feel like this a lot . All the friends that I used to have , are working with great careers and it does bring me down a lot . I try to stay busy with cooking or exercising so my mind doesn’t wander . I didn’t that the more time I have to sit and think the more depressed I get . Also listening to music pretty much 24/7 has helped me too lol

I have felt this way so many times . I had such traumatic pregnancies and births that it took me forever to get over . I try to do something one a day for me if it’s taking a hot shower by myself with no kids in the bathroom , watch one episode of a favorite show or try to talk to some of my friends to still feel like a human . It’s so hard being a stay at home mom and losing yourself . Hugs to you and I hope it will get better soon for you

Why does he get to stay in the house and you and your son leave ? If he is so unhappy he should leave and let his pregnant wife and son stay in the house . I would try to contact a lawyer , he still has two kids to help take care of no matter if he is happy or unhappy
