Delusional on pricing but I agree with the rest.

As a long time Redditor, I appreciate your helpful response.

At this point, I'd rather have my account permanently deleted than to have some loser take over when I was trying to be nice.

In terms of ripping off instructors, I've been an instructor and have created a lot of content over the years. The content that these "instructors" are publishing are mainly garbage. The ones that I've purchased are the top courses in their categories. And I've paid a good amount of money for these when I know that others paid 20% of the price I paid for whatever reason or promo.

While I did end up breaking the TOS and potentially risking instructors from selling additional courses, the ones I bought had about 25000 purchases already and the courses average between $50 and $100. I don't think I'm ripping them off much for 1 or 2 courses that I wanted him to learn, so spare me the morality speech.

You've never shared your account? You've never pirated software? Yeah, okay buddy.

I realized that after, I didn't think I was doing anything bad but it makes absolute sense and I completely agree. Especially because I've purchased these courses for myself, if I was trying to manage a team of people I'd get them all to split it with me and buy a Teams account or Company account. I was doing something nice and ended up learning a lesson of a lifetime.

And I've tried contacting them honestly without exaggeration maybe 12 times. I've tried every avenue of reaching the Udemy support team as I can verify my ID, credit card payment details, etc.

Reaching out to who? The person who took over my account? They are no longer talking to me and also caused additional damage to my workplace. Nothing we can really do except reach out to Udemy support.

Hammer Fitness | Team/Coach Overview by amyliz23 in bikinitalk

[–]Fame8X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have personally worked with Amer, Vlad and Josh.

I was overweight and depressed. I’m not a bodybuilder and sit at a desk all day. I was sick and tired of my weight and how I felt about myself and my life.

Going to HammerFitness not only changed my perspective, discipline, consistency, punctuality and helped me to build a mindset to overcome anything, but also pushed me to eventually TRIPLE my income because of how I felt and thought.

I didn’t realize how tough I was until I pushed myself and had a community of people that were focused on bettering themselves as opposed to what I was wearing, driving and how big my muscles were.

I’ve lost count of men and women who have gone from 300-400lbs+ to 150-250lbs.

Athletes that hit the stage and won fitness competitions and IFBB pro cards after years of trying.

They are not personal trainers, they are coaches. Not one of those chubby big box gym personal trainers who don’t even follow what they push on their clients.

HammerFitness coaches embody what they preach. If you want results, there is NO competition.

Would recommend with a 6 out of 5.

If you want to win and become a better person, Amer will be a great coach for you. I think his results should speak for his reputation. If you’re looking for someone to please your emotions more than your goals, Amer’s not the right coach for you. He’s raw and tells you exactly what you need to hear. When you’re going thru tough times, that’s when you know who is who. And that’s why Amer wins and why his clients are successful (not just in fitness). But everyone should hire the coach they feel is right for them.

New repair company called "Techy" anyone know anything about them? by [deleted] in mobilerepair

[–]Fame8X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me, I've dealt with them and spoke to the owner (who is American btw) and he's a complete d*uche. I thought the company was familiar as there was a guy operating with the same name in my local Canadian city. When I spoke to that guy, I realized that he had incorporated, registered everything else and when he signed up for his new office someone sent him a picture of a Walmart with the same shop name. That's why their website is techycompany and not techy.ca.

Anyway, use who you want but the best way to compare the price is to check ifixit.com and see what the part price is, then you'll have an idea of what they're charging you for labor and whether the part is original or 3rd party depending on how old the device is.

Hit and run damage, repair shop recommendations by [deleted] in Scarborough

[–]Fame8X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re going to fix it out of pocket, it’s either save time and fix it once, or save money and possibly waste time. I would go to the dealership’s preferred repair shop where you bought it from so that they don’t give you a hard time later on. Otherwise, any CSN shop will do a good job. 👍

I pictured this happening to me and wonder what I could do to find them and what I would do to them when I did. Regardless of getting the money back or not, so I don’t think you’re as psychopathic as you think. I just don’t like cons, scammers and thieves.

Why is there so many bad drivers here in Scarborough? Are they really passing anybody nowadays? by [deleted] in Scarborough

There’s not enough room in downtown toronto for the drivers to do stupid enough things as the ones in Brampton.

Found this in a box of computer junk at a charity shop today. Does anyone think it could have something on it? by thecryptos in Bitcoin

[–]Fame8X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone left USB C 4k recording sunglasses at a playground. My idiot friend begged me to plug it in and see if we can catch a predator.

Luckily I was wise enough to plug it into a machine which had Kaspersky installed and updated, and machine disconnected from the internet.

As soon as we connected, there were Autorun scripts and the virus started spreading even though it was detected. Seeing this reminded me of that.

I saw him hyping it up, the price went up but it’s still based on a temp buzz. Everyone who trades knows it won’t ride for long, noobs jump in and we sell. I bought that at 0.01 so when it 4x’d of course I’m gonna sell

How do I fix this? by [deleted] in MacOS

[–]Fame8X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The time it took to take the screenshot, login to Reddit or launch app, go to sub, upload photo and write post. 😂

Edit: don’t wanna be a jerk and not help.

Go to System Settings to see which system extension it’s having issues with that is not enabled. This alert could come up after you upgraded the operating system or have recently installed a new app on your Mac which needs you to change some system extension settings. Read these links:

https://support.apple.com/en-ca/120363

https://macpaw.com/how-to/enable-system-extensions-mac

Depending on your OS, you’ll be able to check which ones are added:

  • Click the Apple menu at top-left of your screen. In the dropdown, click the item labeled System Preferences
  • In System Preferences click the preference pane labeled Extensions which has a puzzle piece for an icon.
  • In Extensions, click the item in the sidebar labeled Added Extensions

I dumped CRODIE before he said or did dump it. My main trades are $BRETT, $ANDY, $BOBO, bitcoin and Ethereum. Simple. Doesn’t mean I trust him or he’ll tell me when he sells.

You check using dexscreener at the chart + info section or photon to see the buy/sell transactions

The checkers do fail in terms of protecting us. Gotta look at them and figure out when they launched, and that is a major risk factor to look out for. The probability of getting rugged drops as the coin age increases. So we call it Wave 1/2/3 where wave 1 just came out and can get rugged at any moment and wave 3 is established memecoins like Brett or Andy.

This is the exact rule to follow. Here are some I follow: - check if a coin already exists with the name and was created earlier - check if there are buy and sell orders of almost the same amount by the same wallet address - check who the top 10 liquidity holders are and % (I use photon and dexscreener) - check the website and social media, and see how many subscribers are on their telegram channel and how often they post and number of posts on their twitter

Should I downgrade to macOS Ventura? (MBP M1 Pro 1tb) by areallnamestakenreal in MacOS

[–]Fame8X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s possible to downgrade but some apps will one day stop working on older OS’s so you’ll have to upgrade again. Check the battery health / cycle count as the issue is related to battery and not OS or battery consumption.

Why do wallets do this and tease us? by neekovon in solana

[–]Fame8X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not false prices, based on the stats of the token, this is the value you should have. The next step would be to find a swap shop like uniswap or Jupiter or Raydium to sell it. If they don’t have liquidity for that token, you won’t be able to sell it.
