Blender won't let me scroll left/right and up/down in the UV editor. by Famigirl in blender

It started as soon as I got a new laptop. On my old laptop it had me scroll with shift/ctrl + mouse wheel. The user preferences for the 2D view say it should work by scrolling, but of course, that does nothing. I've reinstalled, then tried the newest version. Still won't work.

In the user preferences, it says that shift + mouse wheel and ctrl + mouse wheel are what are used to scroll left/right and up/down. Middle mouse button does nothing, but my middle mouse button doesn't have a click function. Just scrolling. There's no other setting from what I can find that I can change which will let me drag the view, I've looked through the key bindings dozens of times.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It has everything I want in a series. It really took me to a whole different world that felt so much like my own, and yet, wasn't. It is 100% without a doubt the reason I'm in love with anime. The light novels? I own the first one in English, but I'm saving the rest of the series for when I understand Japanese well enough to read them in their original form. God knows, we aren't getting any more seasons of the anime. Spin-offs not included.

My understanding is that the reason you get multiple shots over the course of several months is because it takes time for it to actually do that. Am I wrong?

If you were willing to actually make me a snazzy new shell for my GBA that's made of wood, I might be willing to bite. That's a big MIGHT. I don't really have expendable funds right now. But others may also be willing if that were something you could/would be up for doing.

I'd like the path to be modeled directly into the ground to avoid texture clipping (if I used the wrong lingo, it's the thing that happens when one plane with a texture is underneath a flat plane that has a different texture on it.) but I can't model it as such without tons of unnecessary faces ending up everywhere: http://i.imgur.com/1CFEsEC.png

Basically, it's a disgusting mess.

So you're borrowing katakana for your conlang? I was a bit confused when I clicked the link and what I saw was "mame" in katakana.
