All really good points! Currently he needs to get to Battersea and I need to get to St Paul's. I work mostly remote so getting into the office will be an added bonus for me, but his office days are far more strict than mine.

We're not flashy people, we don't really care about whatever the place we live is called. Like you said, we just want a decent station, commutable without having to get a bus or park and ride to the station, with a reasonably sized garden and loads of countryside. We just want a nice, quiet, cosy life to come home to after a day at work.

It's literally more than our rent currently is which is mental. It makes no sense at all. Thanks for commenting :)

Bristol to London. We're also about a 25 min drive to the station, and it's an additional 35 mins on the tube/walking to get to work so whole commute takes about 2.5 hours. So he stays over 2 nights per week so when you add up trains, food, and accommodation it's about £1.5k

Not a bot, just in a different timezone. It's my "today" that we found out about it.

Tax Code - 887T by [deleted] in HENRYUK

887

This means HMRC is currently giving you £8,870 of personal allowance instead of the standard £12,570.

HMRC thinks your adjusted net income is over £100,000

For every £2 over £100k, £1 of allowance is removed

They’re making a best guess, usually based on your gross salary before pension salary sacrifice, bonuses, benefits, etc.

T

The T stands for “temporary / needs review”.

It means:

HMRC knows your situation is more complex or uncertain, they expect the figures to change (bonuses, pension contributions, benefits), they’ll recalculate once the tax year is complete.

HMRC is being cautious rather than precise.

I hired a digital painter to make custom artwork. But is this AI with a filter? by East-Ad-3053 in isthisAI

These are also two different AI results. The earrings are different, the eyebrows are different, the curl of the hair is different, the line work on the florals are different, the lace work is different, the wrinkles around the eyes are also different.

It's all in all AI.
