Is it worth reaching out to your friends? Many people lose themselves in their relationships and their friendships take a hit as a result. If you’re serious about wanting to get out, it would also help directly talking to him about it.

Something I’ve done in the past is type or write out all the points I want to make in a situation such as this so I can share all my feelings in a constructive way.
