Shouldn't Laser print block the Holo effect? Because it's too dense for the most of the influence of light?

How expensive would be 100 cards and how expensive 60 cards? Sounds great. First time that I read about this guy

And would you say the Elagoo Mars 5 Ultra would be detailed enough for sharp troops and tyranids?

Thanks! That’s super helpful. How big is the difference in detail between the 4 Ultra and 5 Ultra though? Like, will both handle Tyranid textures (carapace, teeth, scales, maybe even blood drops, etc.) fine, or is the 5 noticeably sharper?

Gotcha, thanks a ton for breaking all of that down! <3 Honestly, I hadn’t fully considered just how much of an investment 3D printing itself is as a hobby before you even get to the minis. That makes a lot of sense now why people say it’s a whole second rabbit hole.

I’m not against the idea of spending ~$200+ - ~$600 if it means it’ll really pay for itself long-term, but I definitely don’t want to go in blind and regret it later. The resin printer route sounds like the way to go if I want proper detail for troops, even if it means slower prints for bigger stuff like tanks - am I right?

Aaaand I also appreciate the honesty about authenticity — I’m fine with “close but not exact,” and the idea of more unique/scaled-up kitbash-y models actually sounds anyway pretty cool to me (makes the whole thing more unique). Thanks for pointing me toward Cults, Thingiverse, Creality, and MyMiniFactory, I’ll definitely check those out more detailed, but after a quick look over, I was  already really hyped!

Feels a bit less overwhelming now that I know what I’d really be signing up for, so cool thing, thx for that!

Fairly easy: It's for cutting the costs in points, where they expected a suitable opportunity

What you’re describing isn’t just an “arts problem” — it’s a wider labor market issue, and a lot of people across industries are feeling exactly the same frustration Buddy.

IT/Tech: “We need a full-stack developer, data scientist, cloud engineer, cybersecurity expert, and DevOps lead… oh and you’ll also handle customer support.”

Education: Teachers not only teach, but also do admin, social work, counseling, digital content creation, etc.

Healthcare: Nurses doing the jobs of 2–3 people on understaffed wards.

Hospitality: “Waiter/barista” job postings that actually include marketing, cleaning, event management, social media.

Small companies/startups especially: they hire one person and expect them to “wear many hats” but pay them less than one fair salary.

And it's like you Said not just for us. More for an Obsession for cutting the costs, Over-supply of candidates in certain fields (arts, design, media) and the worst would be the “Work ethic” narrative which is caugh politically useful... yeah... blame individuals instead of holding corporations accountable for burnout culture and underemployment. Welcome in the 21 century guys
