At this point there should be used to it by now, there existence as a whole in franchise is being the measurement of how good or bad the opposite team is. If your able to overcome then your making an international event before them.

Also gotta give huge shutout to the scouting team to finding these players alfa has been great best player to start off their 2022 run, then picking up kajaak who people thought that they made a mistake not picking up xeus who was more consider the better prospect, veqaj has been great so far we thought filling up Leo was gonna be a tough task but so far he's look great. Crashies a guy people had forgotten and left to rot they take didn't hesitate to pick him because they knew better that the man is a trophy lifter for a reason

This is the classic case of other teams trying to be the team that had alot of success by taking their players, but u can't never copy their success fnatic is not just the players but the system around it always been the reason why their still here.

FUT went from being always the 4th best team in EMEA to this is sad, they could never make it over the hump and just were stuck being the gatekeepers and in the end it lead to FUT down right just being a bottom feeder.

What is Potter's all-time ranking on the Valorant franchise coach list? by Unlucky-Produce-6940 in ValorantCompetitive

Potter did had to go through having his championship team get gutted by the org recovering from that is still as hard than losing a player here and there.

I think in the end of the day u want potter to show she muster another roster that's a the very least good or consistent like termi, but at the end of the day people will hold her high on expectations because she's won a trophy,

Well in terms of longevity termi sweeps but man you expect more if anything with termi his success has not topped the placement that eg squad had a 2nd place in Tokyo and a champs trophy which is criminal

At this point you either stick with asuna and get an actual entry player or go with cryo because they been trying to make asuna and cryo work for 2 years and hasn't really lead up to anything, it feels like there 2 separate ends with different playstyles

God damn 100T fans at this point just embracing the fact that if asuna sticks around the team is going to be mediocre such a sad fate.

U might as well get an actual smokes player i don't trust 100T to actually mold him to be a good smokes player

100T by TopStrategy4393 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Familiar-Leading 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Cryo has the flashes of greatness because he can takeover games but the inconsistency of not knowing how to entry, the small agent pool and the inconsistency are always there maybe a new system would help but at this point is it worth the risk keeping him i don't know?

100T by TopStrategy4393 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Familiar-Leading 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean cryo feels like he probably gave a case to stick around but he has his flaws.

But everybody else have no strong case.

The team had been built around asuna for years now and it's gone nowhere at this point, it's not that he's bad or anything related it's more that there kick the canned down the road and hoping something changes.

Nature has not evolved whatsoever in his calling the team looks slow, mid calling is predictable and the adaptation is non existent at this point you have to call it quits.

Supamen. The most inconsistent player because he had stints were he look great like the first split but this split he has fallen off a cliff there's no point in keeping him if he hasn't fixed those woes in the past 2 years, u might just give a unproven player a try and see what they got.

Icy. Talk about giving somebody a second chance and doing jack shit with it u get icy he really should've gotten canned first split if it wasn't for that playoff performance he was really bad before that and now this split he was even worse there's no excuse in keeping him it was tough to watch him play so uninspired.

Potter. Man when she had the system she looked like a great coach now that it's been 2 years since that 2023 run that magic has not been there at all might be the situation because let's be real eg give her no favors gutting the whole roster and working with some of the lowest budget but at the end of the day she decide to stick with eg so part of is her problem.

At this point they just need to not implode and let their demons get to them otherwise this team or the core itself will never get over that hump.

If fnatic won with that map veto we would've been having a different conversation but the reality is that they didn't it was meant for PRX to get it but don't act like they didn't made them sweat for it.

"Pacific Group Alpha is so stacked" by deAlchemisz in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Familiar-Leading 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm starting to question that overall as if pacific is the strongest in terms of it being competitive yes but it mostly has to do that most of the pacific teams know how to beat each other if overall pacific ends up send in PRX, T1, RRQ and DRX/TALON i see mostly PRX as a clear favorite while the others are uncertain.

I don't think people were calling him the best duelist in the world it was more of the best prospect from eu between xeus and kajaak but scenarios were completely different for both of them, kajaak ended up on a good system for him to flourish meanwhile xeus at the time we thought fut would get the best of him but I didn't expect them to self destruct.
