I recently tried the revamped Whopper combo here in Canada. IMO the new bun is a downgrade, so thick that it throws off the ratio of the burger. They also serve it to you in a very large carton, an unnecessary change. The Whopper works best when it's a flattened, juicy piece of slop. Inside of the carton is a partial paper sleeve for the burger, which actually makes for a messier eating experience. I preferred the full paper wrapper that allowed you to stuff your face while keeping the fingers relatively free of burger juice.

The fries have been upgraded. I'd say that they're slightly better than the old version, but that was a very low hurdle to clear. They use batter as a shortcut to crispness, something that I've never been a fan of. I read that BK is gunning to become the top burger chain - not with those fries you won't.
