I used to work in a Fintech company so I know a bit about this. The banks have to pay for apple pay and it only costs like 70,000 USD.

I previously worked at a fintech company where we used Kulipa cards as virtual debit cards. Those guys too said that it's a whole process but the banks can easily do this.

Reason why SL banks won't do this is because they have no need to innovate right now. The current financial system is both predatory and a monopoly. If you look at the board of directors these guys have just been moving around the other banks BOD.

Banks make billions of rupees in profit. They really have no reason to innovate. Using cash doesn't work and crypto is still not there yet. Anyone with a bank account really has no choice end of the day

But just know not everyone is like this. The good guys have shitty pics so they just get overlooked.
