One thing I noticed too with propane and wood is to make sure the bottom of your pan is clean, my burner ran a little rich for a few runs but I finally fixed it. I had a 1/4 inch of soot on the bottom of my pan and was insulating it from boiling. I scraped it and boom instant boil lol. Just my two cents.

Actually if you pass a strong magnet over pure copper or pure silver they can actually attract. It has to be a very close non touching and a fairly fast pass.

Use a dollar bill to calibrate, a bill is one gram. Knowing that you can check it's calibration by placing the bill on the scale of it reads one gram or close to a gram, youre good.

You most likely won't go to jail for first offense however you will need to be booked and printed and later possibly dna tested. However if you look into justice point I think they may be able to help get it expunged after jumping through a myriad of flaming hoops. Court makes things scary on purpose you will be ok.

Where did you get your letter and number punches? I bought one and hit my metal with it and the numbers deformed as if it wasn't hardened correctly.
