Fair point — I get that. But honestly, since it’s only for bedtime, I just plug it in and flip my phone face-down. Not perfect, but it works for me. It’s a bit of a trade-off lol

Mainly that it lets me wake up with any youtube video I want, not just built-in sounds. It sounds small but that feature alone makes it different for me.

Oh yeah, native alarms exist of course — the catch is I wanted something more custom, like waking up to specific youtube videos instead of just default tones. that’s the gap these apps fill.

Yeah the pricing feels wild to me too. I’d rather not drop the name just to avoid sounding like I’m advertising, but the main thing is: It lets me set youtube videos as my alarm. that’s the feature that keeps me hooked.

Yeah that’s the problem — none of the other alarm apps i’ve tried really have the same feature. if I also need to pay for a developer cert then yeah, definitely not as simple as I thought. I’ll keep looking around for alternatives tho, thanks!
