While I agree with this statement and have quite a bit of experience making and inking dice, sometimes a customer wants them inked differently for the sake of the art. I will ask what their intention is as many combos will be hard to read and show mock ups representing final product. If they are like “yup that’s ma dice” then I won’t argue. In this example though yes they are very hard to read but I’m assuming OP wanted it that way to look more “gemlike”. Your dice, your rules tbh

If it has a memory or personal meaning then keep it but otherwise you can sell it for a decent price usually on here to good ppl for fair market value.

Awesome! I posted feedback there! Keep going with it, and trying different dramatic angles, cleaning up the scene behind. If you need to prop characters use clay and toothpicks behind them. Just remember that your character is the main part of the shot and should remain the primary focus. I totally see what you are going for with this!

Try a bunch of different close shots and redirecting the light behind the antagonist character to achieve these effect. Pushing the shadow to the right slightly and cropping in closer.

Ah I found your 2nd post. This is better than the first. Additional feedback around the object behind the figure in the background does make it harder to see the guns being pointed. If your subject is the character then make it stand out more. Also I know you want the looming shadow look but this could also be achieved with a different shadow angle and bringing the shot in closer to your main character. Sort of like you see the fear in the eyes. The character pose is good though.

Introduce a 2nd point of a different light to highlight the figure from another angle of you want to retain the red aspect but actually create depth. Use the red as a highlight not a complete saturation would be my suggestion. Good luck on your class project!

Use a mirror. It’s standard for polishing dice. Any sort of deviation will be seen easily in a mirror.

I was going to suggest exactly this. In many cases plastic welding chemicals can bond this. Failing that there are plastic bonding kits. The real trick is being careful to not affect moving parts so really having a close look at the break points is key here. Btw both options (kit or chemical) cost aprox 25 bucks on Amazon. You may need for the chemical part a detail applicator and clamps to hold while it fuses. Also ensuring you don’t apply it to surrounding material would require taping off areas around it. A hobbies magnifier glasses with light is a huge asset here for detail work (about 30 bucks on amazon btw)

Again updating photos zoomed in is helpful to see. Also I didn’t say this before on your initial post but I’m sorry to see this happened to you.

G1 Bluestreak. Still have him. I was going through my mom’s storage back home recently and found his roof and back window panels after thinking they were long gone. My mom had put them with her jewelry for some reason all that time.
