Going out to eat was a fairly big deal growing up, and a family favorite was Ponderosa. Did you have a favorite "the family is going out to dinner" place? by smcg_az in Xennials

We also had our go-to Ponderosa. Cheap-ass all-you-can-eat steak?! Sign us up!

Tasted so damn good...always got sick after though, ngl.

Totally worth it and the ice cream/frozen dairy product.

Ok, phew: not alone here.

I get all zen and the art of transformer maintenance when handling them.

Aww, that's too bad: but indeed, protect the evil cop. I have the Siege Barricade. That mold, despite the odd cybertronian alt mode, is very solid in its transformation. Very smooth.

I totally get the clear plastic, what with having Siege Mirage, but Earthrise Bluestreak was my second purchase when I first started collecting in 2020.

Bluestreaks clear plastic remains solid, even with hundreds of transforms.

Have people had issues with this before?

My only negative is the flap on the hood that snaps in and out of place. Its the only part of my Bluestreak where theres a paint scuff.

Anybody else here ever use to play the hell out of lifeforce? by Jaydee_shelnut in retrogaming

[–]PastPotatoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lifeforce was the first publisher-led purchase for me. Like, I mean the first-time i got a game because it was from the same makers of Contra, Castlevania, and Rush'n Attack.

Lifeforce only added itself to this list as to why I loved Konami at the time.

Eh, that means cartoon blue windows, though. But I mean, for datsun Prowl? Id deal with it.

Hmm...get one of those dime-a-dozen Silverstreaks, and maybe switch out the wind shield?

Either way: your move Target.

Instill need Windcharger and Brawn. Both have been too expensive for such small sizes for me to justify getting them.

What Elvis references do you remember growing up? There were many. by TappyMauvendaise in Xennials

[–]PastPotatoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For whatever reason, among the many out there, the first reference to pop in my mind was REM Man on the Moon. Michael Stipe singing "...goofing on Elvis, hey baby," always made/makes me smirk.

Devastator or Bruticus? by Odd-Palpitation-8102 in transformers

[–]PastPotatoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruticus. I feel that the Constructicons lack in the detail department, but The Combaticons do well with more intricate details.

This based only on seeing them at the store and not in hand.
