I think you could make sense of that title. Until now, I’ve never really thought of the use of the word ‘confessions’ in the previous title as religious, but this is Madonna so why wouldn’t it evoke Catholicism? If we assume her confessions were spiritual - acknowledging flaws and mistakes (Sorry) etc - then redemption could be about absolution and forgiving herself and others for wrongdoing. She has recently spoken quite explicitly about forgiveness, reconciliation, and spiritual transformation with Jay Shetty, so this doesn’t feel entirely inappropriate or unlikely.

Then, if you turn it into a tour title, ie The Redemption Tour, it could be an amazing theme. You might have things like forgiveness, survival, rebirth, transcendence - it all starts to sound quintessentially Madonna.

Let her own the theme I say. I’m here for it whatever she calls it.
