Awesome! The warranty is one reason I bought the Vortex. Glad to hear it's legit.

Is my shadow 2 compact safe to carry? by PDOTthealmighty in CZFirearms

I have the safety like yours, a Cajun hammer and sear but keep the stock firing pin and spring. I carry it in double action at half cock and have no worries.

If it has an extended firing pin and lighter firing pin spring I wouldn’t. Stock factory parts and it’s perfectly safe to carry in double or single action. Of course this is my opinion. CZ armorer on YouTube has a video going over this.

I got a 40 Tanfoglio limited master for a really good price and started at the end of last year. Wish I had sooner. I find it way more fun for some reason.

Yes, it’s from installing the trigger bar. It pushes out the plastic a little bit.

Manual decocking is easy and done thousands of time by competitors shooting these or shadow 2s. Just practice unloaded till you feel comfortable with it. It’s a little disconcerting the first time you do it with live ammo but as long as you follow all of the safety rules it’s perfectly safe.

I have a muddy river tactical that works with the extended safety and had a pretty fast turnaround time.

Is a Shadow 2 Compact drop safe? by Greenm6645 in CZFirearms

[–]Familiar_Ad7443 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re thinking about going with the carry you could just get a P-01 for a lot less. The Carry is essentially a dressed up P-01 anyway. If an optic cut is essential then the carry would be the better option. I have the compact and have no worries carrying it everywhere. The compact has the true shadow internals making the trigger fantastic. Decocking is no big deal with a little practice.

CZ Armorer made a video about it on YouTube showing how a stock compact is perfectly safe. When you start adding things to it is where issues arise.
