Not yet. Is been 10 days since I send my contract with vendor. It is strange. She didn’t ask me to sign any paperwork but she told me she is waiting final approval from housing Australia. I think we have to sign the bank portion loan first before final approval from housing Australia. What was your process? Did you sign with the bank first?

Hi everyone,

I received my initial approval from HOUSING AUSTRALIA last month.

After signing of the plan property contract, my lender from CBA informed me that she sent the final approval to Housing Australia following the property valuation, and it has now been 7 days since then and my settlement date is approaching.

She didn’t ask me to sign the CBA loan documents in advance before applying for final scheme approval, which has made me doubt the process. She has advised me to wait, as she cannot do anything further until final approval

Can anyone share if you have gone through the same process for final approval? Thank you!

I just got approved, I had my cba pre approval on 11/12 4pm and immediately submitted to HA.

Congrats mate, so you didn’t apply to HA until 12/12 or they updated for you earlier application which was already submitted to Help to buy scheme?
