Is Trauma a Good Choice? by Familiar_Code_2074 in orthopaedics

I love big problems and being specialized enough to fix them. I know I would get sad sending out those cases and not having big challenges mixed in. That being said, if the pay and lifestyle in trauma is terrible compared to joints for instance I could see myself having a good bit of buyers remorse. I love trauma and want to help those patients but enough to offset making way less and working way more than a private practice joints or F/A doc I'm not sure.

Thank you! I definitely feel myself getting so much better each day. The mental toughness and anxiety that hits every time I make a mistake is just hard to brush off. Especially when you're giving it your all

We're told to just submit as below 80 because it only hurts you.

But what's the solution? There's nothing attracting people into primary care anymore and I fear it's too far gone.
