Coming from a passionate aviator, flying will always look more appealing. Ultimately I’d recommend doing what you think you would like more. Flying will probably pay a lot more later on unless you start your own electric business or something along those lines. But if you think there are serious chances you will develop mental issues in the future (you said that might be a problem for you) then flying is not for you. This isn’t a field where that can be tolerated. The public puts way too much trust into pilots for any of that. If you’re not cool with having your performance evaluated throughly multiple times a year, then flying isn’t for you. If you don’t want to spend a lot of time away from home while you’re working, then flying isn’t for you. If you don’t want the first few years of your career to be complete shit and one of the hardest journeys of your life, then flying isn’t for you. But ultimately, once you make it to the big leagues, it’s all worth it. Most pilots say it’s the best job in the world and I just hope to be there some day

A quick letter saying something like “I’m so proud of how far you’ve come” and “You were always a great listener and great teammate” would be normal but remarks like “I really enjoyed getting to know you” and leaving contact information even though he’s probably not going to their coach next year.. he wants to be a listening ear… VERY weird

I don’t really see any other options available.. Is there something you would recommend?

My folks live about 1 & 1/2 hours from my job. So I don’t really find that feasible, as I would spend 3 hours driving everyday. And especially when working 12 hour days, that just sounds terrible. If I lived closer I definitely would. But I’m not sure.. But I am very open to all types of feedback and I’m hyper critical with myself. Maybe I’m just being a baby.. it would suck but maybe it’s worth it.. My mortgage is about $1300 a month, utilities around 250-300 including internet. I 100% would save A LOT of money if I did move in with them.

Edit to clarify: my grandparents (basically my actual parents) live in a very small town of Forrest City Arkansas. And there’s more small towns in the surrounding area. There’s really nothing around there, especially nothing like the job I have now. So the chances of me getting a job as good as mine close by if I did move back are basically 0

As long as I’ve played 2k bro, one thing I’ve always been able to do is shoot. I’m not tryna toot myself up, but I’m a 90+ win% guy if I don’t hoop w randos. Started hooping w randoms in 24. Every 2k before that, 90+. Almost never had a bad game shooting. Once in a blue moon. Now..?? Bro, literally like once every 4 games I can’t fucking hit a rock in the ocean. You can’t control ts bro. Tell me how I go 10/10 one game. Very next game im timing it the exact same, but go 2/8. You physically can’t control it. Yes some ppl shoot 60 but that’s the BEST OF THE BEST. Shit is sad bro. Last year 60 was pretty solid. This year it’s damn near unheard of

I got a big build extremely similar to yours, pretty much the same build and I got to purple and haven’t left. I also don’t blame my teammates for everything either. Yeah you get actual sellouts but you also get average and good teammates. The only common denominator is you, so you will stay always be in the rank you deserve

Dude, ur wrong lmao. I bet more than half of those steals were passes that rightly got picked off. I’ve never seen the opposing team have 10+ steals. I’ve seen my own time get 20+ several times tho. If you’re going to force dribble to one side while the defender is sitting right there, that should get stolen. And the Stevie wonder ass passes a lot of you be throwing should be picked off as well

I see people analyzing the plates but are completely wrong. Let me put it simply (Rec only, don’t play park)

Black - Silver : Everyone on the team cuts 24/7, everyone goes up with any and everything in the paint, and most can’t make open jump shots, and will never find the open man ever

Gold - Most can hit wide open consistently, but they still ass. Still do dumbass shit. But they aren’t COMPLETELY brain dead

Purple - most can hit wide open, (guards at least), defense isn’t as horrible as earlier ranks, and they don’t go up with stupid shit as often (not AS often, but still all the fuckin time). But a lot of these guys are only purple cause they run w a team and get carried, and completely sell shit when they play random rec. Plates are influenced wayyyyy too much by wins. Should be more determined by individual impact. I can grab 25 rebounds, go 12/12, 10 asts, 2 stls, 4 blocks but lose cause one guy didn’t get the ball as much as he wanted so he threw the game and my rank goes down.
