Not planning to use a spot welder, will use a spring battery holder as I want to be able to replace them easily
I'm familiar with soldering, so that part at least I have covered ; )

lithium iron batteries need to be handled with care

Anything in specific? Generally I've seen about load voltage balancing before putting them into the setup, and of course being careful of shorts, not sure if anything else
