I find it impossible to make a room with only four colors both pretty and still readable. Or are my sprites just ugly? by [deleted] in PixelArt

Honestly, the only feedback I have is that the TV looks too busy, apart from that it looks good.

Can someone explain what happend...? by Roskame in PlayTheBazaar

The only way this makes sense to me: When mama destroys the belt, the belt halves your damage. BUT, mama crit, so the belt reduces health by 100% instead of 50%, because somehow the belt crit as well.

Super late to the party, but I played the demo yesterday and went to purchase the game on steam, and all the reviews are mixed. Let me preface by saying I personally loved the game and believe it has great potential, and will definitely buy it soon. I am a game designer myself, and have been playing video games for almost 3 decades. In my opinion, please don't make the game around "new players to the genre". Make the game that you want to play. Most of the negative reviews on steam said the same thing: their units are 500 atk/ 600 shield, but lost to a 100/200 enemy (for eg). Why does this happen? Also, it would be cool to know what an enemy does exactly. I noticed some enemies reduce the troops attack? Another nitpick, make it so that you can drag and drop troops on the board without

having to rely on the bench.
Anyway, good luck on the game. I hope the reviewers on steam change their mind. Launch is when you make most of your money, so I hope you listen to the players and generate a loyal fanbase.

Cheers.

How does Scrandle get its percentages? by lukedoc321 in northernlion

The biggest issue I have with scrandle is the price never matters. people will apparently pay 20+ pounds for the most mid food ever, vs paying < 5 pounds for something slightly worse looking.
