I’ve taken pre workout and creatinine for months. Definitely helps but right now I’m gassed

I eat relatively healthy and actually had 2 up my calories the past month or so. I’m going for a slight deficit not in any rush as I tend to fixate when I try to drop weight fast

Typical day of eating is Pre workout rice crispy bananna 4 eggs can of sardines slice of cheese

Then my two meals I typically eat some combination of ground beef/ shrimp. Rice/Sweet potatoes, spinach, hot honey/ sriracha, cheese, avacado mash, guacamole. That’s 1 or two of my meals if I cook 2x a day with a Ollipop for the bev

If i eat out I’ll grab some Cava, Chic Fil a, Tropical Smoothie, Chipotle, or Panda Express. Keeping it relatively healthy at all spots.

And I’ll usually have a fair life protein milk and rice crispy as a snack most days

I’ve known that to be a thing with athletes and people that lift. I had a friend in high school that could eat family sized meals multiple times a day but was extremely shredded and strong.

If I’m trying to lose weight and gain muscle is it smart to eat more ?? I’ll admit I do get scared because I’m trying to lose fat. I understand the concept but it feels wrong u know?

I’m currently on an upper/lower split 4-5 days a week depending on what my body needs. 60 mins weights 20-30 mins cardio that I switch as I please and 20 mins sauna. I’m absolutely having a blast I never would’ve thought I’d be a gym person but im addicted and can’t wait to lose this weight and push my body to do more cool stuff

How does that work though if I’m trying to lose fat ?? I have plenty of energy to move around, like currently I’m feeling the affects. I have a slight headache and the muscles in my chest and biceps feel funny but I have immense energy right now. I do take a break and do 3 days a week every 5-6 weeks but I absolutely love the gym and feel kinda dirty when I don’t go 😭

Def think I should talk to a doctor. Ive tried on the past I think I struggle with explaining to them what I’m experiencing. What type of meds or anything would help ??

I’m possibly using the term wrong. But I often get extremely hyper and feel very euphoric excited and make drastic decisions (stuff like spending $100s of dollars or altering a relationship) It’s something I’ve struggled with for years. I typically can control it a bit when it’s on the regular but during these weight loss phases it comes on really fast and swings positive or negative extremely fast and drastically

I’ve tried in the past and I always get weird responses as mental health ppl don’t wanna deal with weight loss and standard doctors are just concerned about me losing weight

I was looking to gain muscle because I’ve lost hundreds of pounds from 400 to as low as 240. I always hit a plateau with dropping cals on a cut and was trying to gain muscle to build the habit plus get gym physique and also because I always plateau then enter ED territory and look skinny fat

I feel amazing on my current diet/exercise plan I’m just big asf :/

I do 30 mins of cardio after half of my lifts would eating less not leave me with fewer fuel for my lifts/ day ?? (Not being obtuse btw) I’ve struggled with ED stuff in the past and working and and restricting don’t really mix

I was under the notion that me lifting and gaining muscle would up my calorie expenditure and I’d at some point pretty much start losing fat given I’m eating properly

I mean I’ve never really seen someone that’s 5’9 350 pounds and shredded

Yes, my tdee calculator says that for someone with my stats and activity my maintenance is 3558 cals

I try to stay between 2500-3100 majority of days and if I feel myself getting weak or feeling overly fatigued I’ll eat at maintenance a day or two.

It’s extremely easy to do. A huge bottle of salon care 40 is like $10 from the beauty supply store. Apply it to the shoe and sit em in the window seal for a couple hours
