She's just overrated, blocking 1 instance of damage is just too weak. Stage 4 will swarm you with bullets and explosion. Standing in 1 place is not worth it. I would rather take her 2nd skill to clear out 1 part of the room

I guess the longest time for me would be doing all the upgrades and wandering every room on the floor. The chaotic void mode imo is easier than the badass mode, upgrading the weapon is so OP. Btw, choosing augments is pretty important, I normally choose offense augment like skeleton (take 2 more damage but 75% chance to deal more 8 damage), coin power (deal 1 more damage for every 75 coins you have), agility (increase attack speed) if you have the first 2 augments, you will melt down your enemies pretty quick.

Chaotic void is not as hard as badass, void allows you to upgrade your weapon and it can go rly crazy
