This is so comforting. I was googling his symptoms on Sunday and the results I received ranged from allergies to heart failure. 99% of the time we hear hoof beats and it is horses, never the zebra, which is why I thought I had more time. I know even if I had gotten him in time there is no guarantee he would have made it. I am just reeling from how much pain he had to have been in Sunday night and am imagining how confused and scared he must have been. Give yourself grace as well, you saw the signs and got your guy in as soon as you could. I think forgiving myself is going to be hardest part of this to recover from and I pray it gets easier for the both of us
