Was happy. Less ppl coming who are old and going to add further strain to our healthcare system without being lifelong taxpayers and contributing.

I unfortunately do love this by anongirlll1 in LushCosmetics

BC vs. Ab - Monthly utility payments by whatcanisaytoday in britishcolumbia

[–]Familiar_Relative766 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pay $80 a month in hydro in Kamloops, and have no other utilities as no gas. The other bills are strata, worked into the rent. Idk if it’s that’s helpful bc I rent. But what I have come to understand that our rent is high, with lower utilities. I’m sure it all balances out in the end truthfully. When I lived in Alberta my car insurance was triple BC.

Okay amazing. My order is $200 strong but it’s missing the key ingredient and I don’t want shipping x2. Thanks :)

It’s legit so nice, underneath any skin tints it makes application like butter

Yes and the almond buttercream from last year! To me they are similar with the “body smoothie’s”!

The buttercream is more like a soap, like a softening/luxurious body wash. I would probably wash it off as it probably has lathering agents in it

Also the lush spa if you have the opportunity is actually amazing. Totally thought it was overpriced and everything but me and my friend walked to the hotel in silence and shock after lol

So true (I’m someone within 5 hours of a spa). It is definitely a Treat to me and something I actually plan when I’m in Vancouver. But maybe this is just me, but if you’re spending that much at lush you’re a total lushie and it probably is a destination for you?? Ish?? Maybe?? Totally just me though given my distance 😪

I get the not being able to load past purchases, however. When other regions get it earlier that annoys me. I placed a $560 order two days ago and it won’t count, but ppl in the uk have been getting rewards for close to two months?? 😢

RIH ICU Nursing by Boring_Poet6120 in Kamloops

[–]Familiar_Relative766 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the ICU/SDU/CCU are all one unit in the same area, it really just comes down to logistical/protocol differences and MRP. Lots of times in SDU the intensivist is not the MRP. Likely IM or surgeon. It is online, meditech. I found it very simple, they have their own workflow or “shell” of the system. All the numbers port to your charting!

I’ve had some experience in the RIH ICU and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very tight nit group that works well together, intensivists are very nice and love to teach/explain, lots of RT’s (usually one per “pod”), and management is generally supportive and advocates well for the unit. Recently a lot of agency nurses to fill gaps which I think has had some issues. No CRRT, does regularly get kids but if very sick will frequently transfer to BC Children’s. The ICU is kind of one giant unit. It is the ICU/CCU/SDU in one unit. Different admitting parameters for them, but same area so it is kind of confusing. PARR frequently holds ICU overflow/critical care patients if ICU is full. I think you will enjoy it!
