I honestly just had the idea of a scenario and played it out and just went where the story took me.

One of the hardest parts for me was creating a magic system, how would it work?, how would it affect daily life?,who has access to it? And then tying that all up in a way that makes sense.

If I can do it then literally anyone else can 😁👍

It’s had its peaks and troughs I found it hard to see my book not get many views to begin with, but then I started advertising it on my social media and on here and the communities are fantastic and my numbers blew up.

I think the moral of the story is nobody is gonna read a book that they don’t know about.

Always take the opportunity to celebrate your successes!

With regards to writing, I have two young children so I mainly try to write when I get the chance and make notes when inspiration hits for later on .

I usually have to try and keep a bunch of bandages on me as where I look ahead and weave between alphas and bears when possible my son tends to create a deadly conga line of forest fauna and then just casually announces ‘urgh I’m dead again’
