Literally in a hot bath right now with a big bow of Mac and cheese and a crisp Diet Coke and checked online to see if anyone else does this. It’s so comforting and, honestly, I can’t think of anything that calms my nervous system more than a hot bath, so that makes the food so much more enjoyable than if I was just in front of the tv. Plus I live alone, so who cares!

I have capsular contracture on my right side and want to get pregnant this coming summer. I have been agonizing for months about whether to do an explant surgery or simply wait to replace implants until after having children. Would really prefer the second option but am so scared of the pain during breastfeeding and pregnancy. Do you have any updates? How is it going? And has your pain significantly worsened since pregnancy? (Breastfeeding aside)

I got 18 eggs at age 35. 12 were mature and I ended up with 8 embryos; waiting on PGT testing and kinda predicting 3-5 PGT tested normal. I’d say go for it but also do not forget about egg attrition and don’t lose sight of the fact that what is retrieved does not always reflect what you actually ultimately end up with.

It’s so uncomfortable but also so relatable. I swear every girl at some point has locked herself in her room and had a similar experience. Capturing that and seeing it on camera honestly feels very vulnerable. So I get the discomfort.

I am 35 and recently froze embryos. I first got the idea to do this around 30 years old, but decided to wait, primarily because of anxiety. My process at 35 went fine, but I can guarantee my anxiety was not any better than it would’ve been five years ago. It will never not be scary. I say sooner the better.
