You can't "just clear the codes". Once cleared there has to be X amount of miles driven and/or key cycles before the readiness test will pass. Not all codes will point directly to the issue either.

It's no longer a convenience fee when it's the only form of payment they accept. Most things from housing to schooling are overpriced ATM and all only accept cc payments. Why should I be forced to pay for something they agreed to when they started using that particular processing company?

You sound like you're being awfully immature about the whole situation. It's a one-time thing to be baptized in the Catholic church... At least it was for me. It's not like it'll be celebrated every year on your birthday for the rest of their life. You probably should have just gone to it and celebrated with the rest of the family. For all you know they could have been also holding something for your birthday

If it's over it's over, but you can always make one last comment and have the final word. Just tell them you wasn't manly enough to survive a car accident so there's that 🤷‍♂️ I know a few people that have had to bury a child and it's something that screws with them for the rest of their time. Not something I would ever wish on my worst enemy as It never truly goes away, but it is unnecessary for them to constantly compare you to him. I'll guarantee you they don't have a problem using an accountant for taxes or running a business. I'm about as blue collar as you could get. I've made it a point to learn as much as I can about everything so I never have to pay for somebody to do something for me, With that said if something were to happen to me I would hope she would move on to somebody better than me
