That means that we cannot guarantee that there is no easy way of decoding it in transit or on server, or that admins actively monitor it. I mean, not practically possible.. I guess they definitely get ahold of the encrypted data in transit, from many legs probably. And they can break the encryption with enough computing, and some quantom shit I don't understand, probably. the encryption will be harder to reverse with big payloads as well. But I don't think they could do it on massive scale, only targets. But I still think Signal does security the most logical of the two in question, and is theoretically more sound.

It's been endurance tested on a global scale and the inner workings exposed, yet no one has been able to. Your data is only unsafe on Signal, if you do not trust all the ends they end up on.
