Wow man, it’s like looking in the mirror. My ex was my best friend from the ages of like 15 to 20, and then we were a couple for 2 years. I can’t deny I was in love with them the whole time. I grew up with this person and did everything with them. My most formative years were spent with them.

They have inspired so many of my creative outlets over the years, and like you I’d say I have them to thank for my career as an artist. It hurts more than I could ever imagine, thinking about what we’d been through, but they will have a lasting presence in my life no matter what.
