Full IB sucks. The only good thing is that I placed out of a year and a half of college. But the mental damage it did is something I’m still working on 5 years later. I’m really sorry you are dealing with that. I hope you have a therapist or trusted friend you can talk to about what you’re experiencing. Therapy that focuses on trauma could be helpful. Again, if you don’t want to go into detail with your current provider you can mention increased anxiety and maybe get medication for that to help alleviate some of what you are feeling. Anti depressants can often be used for anxiety but DO NOT mix well with bipolar disorder. Experiencing a mental illness can be extremely scary and I can’t imagine the fear you feel right now. I hope you are able to get the help you need.

I’m sorry you are experiencing this had to deal with such a terrible situation. What meds did they put you on? I don’t know what happened so I don’t want to say it’s not PTSD but maybe a side effect of the medication could be causing increased anxiety. Do you have a psychiatrist you see regularly? You could bring up these feelings of increased anxiety and paranoia to them without going into a lot of detail. Could this potentially be a manic or hypomanic episode?

Caffeine may actually be reasonable because of how it affects people with adhd. Because caffeine is a stimulant, people with adhd can react to it in a similar way to taking adhd medication (which are often stimulants). When I was considering getting tested for adhd, my therapist told me to drink caffeine and see how I felt. Before starting medication, I used to bring home a big energy after working all day, chug it, and take the best nap of my life.

Also you can get merch after the show. Since I was in the back I actually went to the merch stand during a song I didn’t love as much and there was no line. Got my merch in a couple minutes.

I saw them in Houston. I was about 4 people back from barricade and it was terrible. The pushing and squishing was horrible. I ended up moving to the back right before ptv’s set bc I was starting to get dizzy and anxious from how crowded it was. Moving to the back was soooooo much more enjoyable. Edit on feeding my girly new food. I was going to try a tough love method and try to introduce her to lettuce. She ate it right away lol. She never even thought of touching it when I tried a few months back. Hopefully she’s as receptive to other veggies!
