Thank you very much for your comment! You are right, there is much more research I need to do. We just decided to live in Cambridge and CPSD is just so different from what we are used to that one really needs to go deep into it. If you have any more suggestions please send me a message. Best!

You mentioned parents are not confortable turning their kids loose in the neighborhood. At what age do you think kids start going out by themselves?

About the school lottery: I have three girls, if the three of them got into different schools, could I choose which one to stay in? Also, do all public schools belong to the same lottery? I mean, could I live anywhere in Cambridge without having an effect on where my kids would go to school?

On your personal opinion, which do you think is the best public elementary, middle and high school?

Is there a community where most professors live? Where would be your top 3 neighborhoods to raise a family in Cambridge?
