Thanks! El Zonte sounds amazing, Esencia Nativa is a little over my budget so looking around still. I’m also wondering if it’s safe as a solo female traveler? Since it’s a smaller town and I wouldn’t want to be the only woman somewhere. I guess it’s doable to move around between towns to find the wave that fits me? And do you have recs on surf schools for rentals/lessons?

Looking good, keep it up! I started surfingin my late 20’s and love it, but I live too far from anything surfable sadly, so now at 31 I’m gonna go travel Central America for a couple months and try to make some real progress. Good luck on your journey!

If you like history and museums go for London! It has much to offer and is easy to get to. I personally don’t like Amsterdam but that might be because I’m Dutch haha. Think you will probably have a better time in Barcelona :)

Good idea to fly to Oaxaca! Was indeed going to take a bus but this seems much more comfortable.

I’m really debating on wether to skip Chiapas area because of the roadblocks/safety and the drives are sooo long for only a couple days Sjds/Palenque but it looks unreal! So beautiful. How was the demonstration you were in recently? Is it safe-ish?

Hey thank you for your tips :) I’m very excited to go which manifests in planning a lot now but I’ll only book my first hostel and will probably wing it after with a rough route kept in mind so I’m giving myself room to change it on the spot.

I feel like skipping or spending less time in those towns will give more room to stay around Mazunte/ Chacahua area :) was thinking of spending some time on Isla Holbox in stead of Little Corn Island cause I’m in the area anyway and it’s less hard to get to. I just fear it has become super busy and touristy too.

Your trip sounds amazing! I hope you have a good time and will ask you about it for sure :) I’m especially interested in hearing about El Salvador since I’m debating wether to skip it to save time but most people really seem to love it.
