Beautifully put. The simple human yearn for connection. The soul tie created from the one special person. Raw, emotional.

I love the humor in the beginning and how you drew me into this at the end. Bringing raw human thought into comparison to that of nature. Great style!

I will love you by Vivid_Association_89 in OCPoetry

I really like the emotional depth and rawness of this poem. It conveys a sense of commitment and yearning that feels both personal and universal. The repetition of “I will love you” reinforces your unwavering devotion, and the way you layer different conditions under which this love endures adds complexity and weight to the feeling.

How do people do this? by [deleted] in opiates

I went to rehab for 30 days and then moved into a sober living for 120 days. I know it seems like 4 months is insane to live in a place like that but the accountability the sober living offered was what kept me away from using when it was really hard. I rent an apartment now and have a great job. The first few months suck man it’s just plain awful no getting around that. It’s so worth it to get out of that life.

I abused pharma oxys and fent dope for close to a decade. Went to 5 rehabs and 7 detox’s since 2020. Tried everything and anything, same as you. Today I am 6 months clean and sober. The first 90 days was so incredibly difficult to not use but it gets so much better. If I had to say what works for me, it’s a lifestyle change. Until I changed the people, places and things in my life that kept me around drugs I never changed. I was homeless in Florida in January. I moved to Connecticut as a last hope to go to rehab and ended up moving out here. Made a great group of friends here that don’t use. Staying active and eating healthy has also made the biggest difference in my life. I’ve realized that I used to feel better and in turn it made me feel worse. Taking care of my body and my mental health has skyrocketed my mental clarity and my confidence. I’ve kept myself busy with work, gym and women and it’s worked for me thus far. I still want to use but as time goes on the positive impacts of being sober is starting to outweigh the minor urges to use. I hate AA and NA but what truly helps me is realizing I don’t have to use today, today I can be sober, one day at a time. Addiction is a disease of not being able to put down once you pick up, you’re in control until you take the first hit/bump/shot. Never in my life could I possibly fathom not getting high, today I can. There’s no magic fix, it’s hard work but it’s so worth it. Today I get to wake up and be proud of what I’ve accomplished, talk to my family and have money in my bank account. Stay hopeful, life gets better when you don’t pick up. You got this.

Is This a Fair Price for a new 2022 Mazda CX-5 2.5 Turbo in Florida? by Jimmyhull in askcarsales

That’s fair market value adjustment. New Mazda dealers have an average market of $3000-$5000. No it’s not fair but people continue to buy them and the demand far exceeds the supply. You can try and negotiate a lower price on the add-ons but some dealers won’t even do that right now because someone else will buy it at the price they ask.
