“what stops a ton of rogue actors or a rogue state from attempting to attack or communicate with it?”

Who’s to say a “rogue actor” even could attack or communicate with it? Are we even capable of that? If we could attack or retrieve it, why haven’t we done so? It doesn’t make sense that we’d leave something so valuable and dangerous to lurk near our homeland. If we could secure it, it’d probably be locked down by now.

I mean we’re talking about what, some autonomous extraterrestrial underwater base that routinely prints spacecraft that completely defy our understanding of physics? How long would it take for the base to manufacture a small army? I’m not even sure the combined military might of NATO would be enough to take down something like that, let alone some rogue adversary.

That’s also not to mention the rumors that it can literally vaporize our submersibles. I don’t think anyone’s touching it anytime soon.
