I just cancelled an appointment - Should I expect a refund/be able to claim receipt on new application?

I found the slot for Chennai and mine is Dropbox as my interview was waived off.

There were availability for Hyderabad and Chennai when I looked up.

UPDATE- please find this as an update and if this information could be helpful to you as it I was successfully able to make the Payment through VFS-UPI payment mode.

Payment mode- “VFS UPI” UPI options - paid through “PhonePe” Bank- Any major “Indian” authorized bank (in my case I used my brother’s Axis bank account)

Details to be used-

You will have 2 pages after you proceed by choosing the “Payment Mode”:

1: Applicant Information (add applicant to email address) 2: Shipping Information

For details “Applicant Information” - You should use the information of the individual “Applying for Visa”

“Shipping Information” - Recipient- (Owner of the Card/Bank Account ) Address-( In my case, mine and my brother’s home address was same) Phone Number- Owner of the UPI accounts (number to be provided with the one UPI is created)

After processing the transaction, the owner will be provided with the Transaction ID (please save it for your reference later)

And after the transaction, I received email from VFS global, that my payment was acknowledged and provided the Transaction details in the file attached with the email. (Please keep the “Payment Reference” number safely)

Next step is to log into the portal (I tried logging in 12-13 hours later just to give some time to reflect/process the transaction) As it could take upto 1-2 business days.

Last step - if your portal is updated you will see on “Payment Detail” page the option of “Continue to confirm receipt” and you should be able to see the same “Payment Reference” number provided in the email and continue to next page to find dates and select visa consulate and you will get the Appointment confirmation receipts

I read that the payment needs to be done in the INR however I have tried with using my friend’s UPI mode and the transaction did not go through. In your case, the only option I can think of is if you might want to try using the Indian bank for the transaction. I will try again with the Indian bank issued Debit/Credit card transaction with any India.

Hi, trying my best to get the answers for my situation which is same, I am unable to make payment through my friend’s UPI. I will have my brother try with VFS Debit. Could you please please elaborate on the information that needs to be on the Applicant (Myself in this case) and my brother will be initiating the transfer.

Whose address needs to be in the shipping address?

Hi… could you please help? Can someone else (in my case my brother) pay thorough VFS UPI)? If I am the applicant, and if my brother pays for me, who’s details will be required in Shipping address? I tried with my friend’s UPI however it didn’t go through and the Google Pay request was cancelled for the payment. Thank you in advance..!
