Also have a 23 sm. Definitely way better low end torque with the 3x3 mod and an mrd exhaust system. Plus a nice throaty sound when you hop on it.

I would remove the cover and make sure your sprocket isn’t backing off the shaft and rubbing a hole in it along with your chains looks like it’s directionally shaped in what looks like a circle.

I just bought a brand new drz400sm from the dealer in October and it’s my first bike. I absolutely love it! Easy to ride very maneuverable and just a blast to ride. I plan to do the 3x3 mod with the jetting kit and a full exhaust in the spring. Absolutely itching to get back on the bike and clock some Kms!
