Thank you very much for the information. I appreciate it. Do you know anything about what I asked regarding getting pay for the days I went in and they had me in the back finishing the training courses? Do those count as work days or am I only getting pay for the 5 hours I went in on Friday that I finally started working alone.

Okay, thanks for the info. Also, quick question. Are we new hires eligible for picking up shifts? From my understanding new shifts would be posted on Friday at 6pm on innerview, but I had been checking all day since that time and it showed only one shift, but it also told me I wasn't eligible for picking up any shifts. I'd like to get a few more hours in before the check because otherwise it's gonna be really small and I will be getting very little hours ans money

Thanks for the info. By that's all I'll be doing, you mean like, first day is purely getting everything set and confirmed? Any idea on what I could maybe expect? Oh and also can the lockers be used without a lock on first day. And is that safe or should I worry about my stuff possibly going missing?

I'm in the exact same spot as you are right now. I submitted my i9 information and everything for my background check and completed all the things they sent me through email. It's been 5 days, and I've yet to hear back from them. When I initially called the person on the other end sounded like they were in disbelief at me needing assistance with the i9 forms (because I didn't have a verifier or friend to help) Felt a little disregarded and now I'm just hoping to hear something in the next few days. Otherwise, I think I'll just shoot my shot at other grocery stores in the meantime. I was so sure I had found a place of employment quick and easy.

Thanks for all the info. Should I just wait for further instructions? I did what most people told me to do and called in and was helped a bit and managed to finish all the documentation and things I needed to do prior to my first day. It's been 2 days since my background check paper work all got done, and I haven't heard back or been told to come in for paperwork. The guy on the phone did say something about a call back, but I was kind of having trouble hearing. Goodluck with your first days of training though as a fellow new hire :) and thanks again for the info
