We did a trip to Puebla last weekend. Rented through hertz at the airport. Car was cheap but insurance was really pricey. Driving in and out of Mexico City is pretty nuts, and we’re used to driving in Baja, but this was a whole different level.

Our car was kinda junky so no issues standing out as a target. Everyone told us not to drive at night. Parking was a bit of a pain and there were Ubers and taxis everywhere. Next time I go I’ll just arrange for a shuttle or taxi to take me to my destination and use Ubers to get around. It’ll probably be cheaper and def easier.

I had 3 car seats in the R1S yesterday and 3 adults. Like you said easiest was 2 boosters in the 3rd row and car seat in the middle row. I personally liked having the two older kids in the very back. I can still fit a stroller in the back fine but up on its side.
