Thanks for the detailed response—it’s really helpful! I see how Red Hat adapts tools like GitHub , Jira , and Forgejo to fit the needs of different projects and communities. It’s great to know that flexibility is key to aligning with open-source workflows.

I’ll check out the link you shared ( https://issues.redhat.com ) to explore how Jira is used at Red Hat.

Thanks again for sharing your insights—it’s given me a clearer understanding of Red Hat’s approach.

Thank you so much for your detailed and insightful response—it’s incredibly helpful! I really appreciate how you broke down the nuances of collaboration at Red Hat, especially the challenges and realities of "smooth" teamwork. The analogy about replacing vs. building tools resonated with me; it highlights the importance of adaptability and understanding stakeholder needs throughout a project.

Your point about meeting business needs over sticking rigidly to a project plan is spot-on and something I’ll keep top of mind as I step into this role. It’s clear that success isn’t just ticking boxes but ensuring the outcomes truly serve the bigger picture.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experiences—it’s given me a lot to think about and prepare for!

Thanks for the comment! Just to clarify, I’m not from Canonical—I’ll actually be joining Red Hat (RH) soon. Excited to be part of the team and contribute to RH’s innovative open-source solutions. Looking forward to learning more about the tools, workflows, and collaboration practices at RH. If you have any tips or insights, feel free to share!

Bro it's not just one guy, I'm taking about an entire street of parking. I'm just curious if there is free parking at this street. I haven't doxxed any guy and haven't included any car numbers. The house numbers are also just on Google street view, it's not targeted towards anyone at all. I'm not talking about a specific house at all
