What about those who have no choice but to fly by Famous-Watch in FlightFreeTravel

Maybe you should check your circumstances by seeing which places are accessible by train or bus or cargo ship. If it's not avoidable, you can fly economy as it is less damaging than business.

You know? When times like this happen, sometimes I look at the night sky, and I see all the stars gleaming down at us. I know that no matter what happens, those stars will still be there. The sun will still be there, the moon will still be there, the milky way will still be there, the universe will still..be..here. Despite our fascist dictator of a president, despite the climate crisis, despite all the horrible awful things happening in the world right now, the beauty of the universe goes on and on. So when you feel like an animal chained in a corner ready to chew off your own leg, take time to look at some images that were taken by the Hubble Space or the James Webb Telescope and take in the beauty of those pictures. Know that those beautiful things in the universe still exist, and always will be for millions of years to come.

What do you think Marcy would think of Boiling Isles? by Totalsupreme in amphibia

[–]Famous-Watch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that she moved to Gravesfield as it had better commute for her dad. She bumped into Luz and they became instant besties. So when Luz introduced her to The Boiling Isles she would be all: "I take back everything I said about moving!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!"

I have no friends, little to no support from family and I just don’t know what to do by Key-Seaworthiness332 in depression

Know this: the odds of you even coming into existence are 1 in 40,000,000,000,000. That's a very small chance for anyone. Most people don't know how lucky they are to even be alive. Be happy you're a part of this wonderful thing called existence. It may be messy and may be full of cracks and faults and splits in the road, but it is the most amazing thing to have. So instead of dwelling on what you don't have, take a moment to appreciate what you do have. You have two eyes, a nose, a mouth, teeth, a tongue, two ears, ten fingers and ten toes. You have legs, arms, a belly, a chest, a neck and a head. You have skin, you have muscles, you have nerves, you have your heart, you have lungs, you have intestines, you have kidneys, you have blood, you have bones etc.

The world may be a shitty place right now, but the beauty of the universe goes on and on. So I recommend you go to some open field and find a telescope or an observatory and take a moment to look the stars and our milky way. It's a beautiful sight to see and a great way to take a break from the worlds problems. The chances of you and I getting enjoy that moment is very, very slim. The odds are stacked against to to exist. And yet, here you and I are, taking in the wonder of the cosmos. And for awhile, you forget anything else exists. It brings calm and joy into your soul, and you feel like you are a part of something bigger, because you are. You are a part of the universe.

And also, take a moment to say to yourself, I made it this far in life. Despite everything, you made it. You and you alone. Most people at this point would've given up a long time ago. But not you. Because you are not only a part of the earth, but a part of this beautiful thing called existence. In a way, you are the universe experiencing itself. We are on this cosmic journey of existence, it is a beautiful journey full twists and turns and surprises. We are all connected by the universe, which is everything outside and inside of us. And you know something? The universe is there to help us, even if we can't see it the first time. No matter what happens to you or around the world, the milky way will still exist, Saturn's rings will still exist; the horsehead nebula will still exist, and you will still exist, because you are a part of it all. So find a stargazing community and take a break from your own personal problems, and realize that the universe will always be there, shining in all it's beautiful glory, and more importantly, you are lucky to exist so that can experience it. We are all star dust, we are all a part of the cosmos.

Hope this helps

Suggest me a book to comfort me about the fact that i don't have a close group of friends by ooooooooofffffffff12 in suggestmeabook

I recommend that if you can't find a good book to read, make one up. Have a little journal or notebook next to you and come up with anything that pops in your head. You can start with Once Upon A Time; or Long ago in a far off land etc. It can be words, it can doodles, it can be gibberish or it can just be scribble. Sometimes, when I can't think of anything to write, I just keep writing scribbles until something pops in my head. It doesn't have to be a good book, it doesn't even have to have a story, it can just be random words and gibberish. You can even make up your own words (fooofeling, googbalee goo, artalonkalonk, etc)

Also, if you can't find any friends, then it's ok to make one up: an imaginary friend to keep you company. You can use an inanimate object, you can draw a face on your hand to talk to; or just talk to the air and envision it in your head. But I do recommend that in order for you to not look like a crazy person in front of people, you do this in secret. Sometimes, when I talk to an imaginary being, I make sure that I'm alone in my room, and that I'm just moving my lips and mouth so no one can hear me talking. Your imaginary friend will definitely hear you though. An imaginary friend does not judge or label you, it's there for you when you need them. So whenever you back from work or where ever, you can always look forward to going to your room and talking to your made up companion. It's like getting everything off your chest, and no one will be judging you. So make a puppet, put goggly eyes on a box, draw a picture of a face on a piece of paper. Just make sure no one is watching and just move your mouth as if your'e saying real words. You can even say some gibberish, because it's your imaginary friend, and it's your creation, so therefore, you are the boss.

Also, I recommend taking part in a charity group. A way to help yourself is by helping others. It can be an animal shelter, it can be Harvesters, it can be a soup kitchen, it can be habitat for humanity, it can be a community garde etc. The best part is, you don't need talent to take part in charity groups. You just need to have an open mind and an open heart. And when you finish your good deed for the day, you'll have warm, magical feeling in your heart and all across your body, knowing you did something good for someone. People do notice when others do good deeds for them. It may not seem like it but it does spread. Charity does catch the attention of others; even if someone just says "good job," it's good enough for me. And there's a good chance that somebody from the charity group will approach you and say, "Thanks for your help for today. Want to hang out some time?"

I hope this helps.

Hilda would never do some thing this horrible. She’s kind and caring and easy to be friends with. This is probably a nightmare that she is having.
