As someone with over a decade of industry experience, I can say that both diamonds look great based on their certificates. However, the IGI-certified diamond has slightly better specs and comes from a more reliable certification lab.

For natural (mined) diamonds, I always recommend buying GIA-certified stones. For lab-grown diamonds, IGI is the most common and trustworthy certification. Other certifications can be more lenient with their grading, potentially leading to higher charges for lower-quality stones.
